Ellicott City Today: October 31

Head into the day a little more informed.

The snow didn't ruin Halloween. The National Weather Service is forecasting a clear, cool day with temperatures reaching 55 degrees. There may be rain tonight, but not until after 8 p.m., so costumes are safe. Temperatures will drop to about 41 degrees. 

Trick or Treat in the Historic District tonight from 4 - 6, rain or shine. This family friendly event will feature costumed spooks and trick-or-treaters can visit local retailers for treats. No cost, but don't forget your costume.

Before you hit Main Street for trick or treating, snap a picture of your kid in his or her creative costume for a chance to win money for the charity of your choice and a trip to New York or Los Angeles. .
