Ellicott City Today: October 20

Head into the day a little more informed.

There may be rain this morning, but the National Weather Service is forecasting partly sunny skies for most of the day with a high temperature near 62 degrees. Tonight, mostly cloudy with a high of 44 degrees.

The Howard County Board of Education is meeting tonight and the agenda is packed. There will be a public hearing, a presentation on redistricting and maybe a vote on how to spend $4 million of supplemental state funds. For the full agenda, click here 

The YMCA will close at 3 p.m. today for the . The fundraiser supports the Y's Safe Place for Kids campaign, benefiting families who cannot afford YMCA services. There will be wine, beer and food from local restaurants, as well as live music and raffles.
