Ellicott City Today: December 15

Head into your day a little more informed.

Today will be breezy and cloudy with breaks of sunshine occuring throughout the day. However there is the possiblity of rain showers later in the afternoon. The day will be relatively mild with temperatures reaching 57 degrees with a low of 46 degrees.

The Howard County Human Rights Commission will hold a public meeting today at the George Howard Building at 7 p.m. For more information on the meeting, click here

If you are looking for a reason to shop(besides the holidays), head out to Ellicott City's "Girls Night Out." The party kicks off at The Wine Bin at 5 p.m. For more information on the night, click .

And don't forget to give a shout out to your local returning veterans. On Wednesday, President Barack Obama gave a speech at Fort Bragg marking the end of the Iraq War. The last remaining troops are expected to return to the United States in the coming days.
