Donate Food in Ellicott City Today

Head into the day a little more informed.

Put yesterday out of your mind. Today it's going to be cold. And windy. The National Weather Forecast says temperatures will reach about 38 degrees with high-speed winds, gusting up to 33 mph. Tonight temperatures will drop to about 24 degrees.

Do you have leftover cans of green beans or corn? Today is the last day to drop off food at your local fire station. Donations will be going to the Howard County Food Bank, which is currently low on inventory. The Food Bank is in need of non-perishable nutritious foods including canned fruits and vegetables, pasta, cereal, canned meat and fish, beans, spaghetti sauce and personal care items. Check the HCDFRS website to find the nearest station
