Chilly and Sunny: Week Ahead in Weather

But the National Weather Service says we may see some rain, too.

Brrr.

This is not one of those mornings where you leave the house with goose bumps and, by the end of the day you’re sweating. No, today, according to the National Weather Service, the chill will stay in the air. 

Today’s high temperature should just fall short of 70 degrees, though skies are expected to remain clear and sunny. Tonight, temperatures drop to the high 40s.

Tuesday’s high temperature will reach the mid-70s and skies will again be clear. Tuesday night temperatures drop to the mid-50s and there’s a slight chance of rain.

Another possibility of rain Wednesday – just 30 percent – and temperatures again will reach the mid-70s. Wednesday night temperatures will drop to about 60 degrees with a 30 percent chance of rain.

Thursday also brings a slight chance of rain. Otherwise, skies will be partly sunny and temperatures will reach the mid-70s. Thursday night temperatures drop to the high 40s.

Temperatures Friday should reach the low 70s and skies, once again, are expected to be clear.
