Budgets, Snow and the Search for a Superintendent: Ellicott City Today

Head into the day a little more informed.

We saw the warmer temperatures overnight, and today, the mercury is expected to drop steadily, falling to about 45 degrees by early evening. We'll have rain all day. More rain tonight and -- maybe, possibly -- snow late tonight and into the morning. Temperatures will bottom out at about 32 degrees.

The Howard County FY13 budget hearing is scheduled for tonightYou can submit testimony or sign up to testify online. If you want to testify, you can also sign up in-person starting at 6:30 p.m. at the George Howard Building. The hearing starts at 7:30 p.m.

If you would like to have a say in the search for the next superintendent, tonight is your chance. The Board of Education has hired Ray and Associates to help with the search, but is also soliciting info from the community. There is a community forum tonight from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Department of Education. The Board has also posted an online survey
