MRHS Students plan a $1,500.00 trip to Weis Market for The Maryland Food Bank

MRHS to spend $1,500.00 for the Maryland Food Bank

Students from the National Honor Society at Marriotts Ridge HS went out into the community to rake, prune and do a total clean up for area homeowners.  This year 82 students worked at 28 properties for 3-6 hours on Saturday, October 27th to work their magic cleaning up these yards.  Homeowners wrote generous check donations for the MRHS National Honor Society and Weis Market gave an additional gift card of $150.00. They are using all $1,500.00 of these funds to make purchases for the Maryland Food Bank’s Kids Helping Kids Food and Funds Drive.

Several of these students will be shopping at the Weis Market in Woodstock at 2:45pm on Thursday, November 15th. They will spend every last dime they earned for this wonderful cause.
