Historic Ellicott City celebrates 33rd annual Midnight Madness
Despite cold temperatures, hundreds turn out for tree lighting and shopping.
Ellicott City celebrated its 33rd annual Midnight Madness Friday night, kicking off the shopping extravaganza with a ceremonial tree lighting at the old post office.
Restaurants and shops along historic Main Street remained open until midnight, with some offering special Midnight Madness deals. Musicians and carolers were on hand to entertain shoppers throughout the evening.
