Howard County continues to rank highly among the the highest earning counties in the U.S.

A new report from Forbes places Howard County among America’s 10 Richest Counties in the U.S., a list culled from 2011 Census median household income numbers compiled by the Bureau’s Small Area Income and Poverty Estimates, the last year data is available.

About Howard County, Forbes wrote:

“Maryland’s smallest county (253 square miles) [is] where Babe Ruth was once married. The biggest employer is the highly regarded public school system.”

somebody forgot to proof read this.....:It says 5th but the chart has Howard Co. in 6th. Must be the great schools in Howard Co.........Glad I went to school in PG Co.
