The storm that struck Maryland on Thursday lasted about 30 minutes from 4 to 4:30 p.m., with heavy rainfall during that time.
But the Patapsco River handled the storm pretty well. Check out the video above to see the water level difference between 1 p.m. on Thursday and 5 p.m. near the Main Street bridge in Ellicott City.
