Scruffy Yet Precious: Dog of the Week

This pup's family was killed in a fire. Now Precious is ready to move on.

Hello! My name is Precious.

I know, I look like my name should be Scruffy but once you get to know me you will see why I am named Precious. I’m young and full of love. I give great doggy hugs and would love nothing more than a new family to call my own.

I’m a Labrador mix which means I’m a great family dog and will get along with everyone.  I look forward to lounging on the couch with Dad, helping Mom in the kitchen, and playing outside with my new brothers and sisters.

I did have a great family so I never thought I would end up in a shelter.  Tragically, they lost their lives in a house fire. I was luckily to be outside at the time so I survived.

My fur may look a little scruffy, but if you look closely you will see that some of that is due to singes from the fire. I miss them every day but look forward to starting my new life with you!  Please come visit me today at Small Miracles.  You won’t want to leave me behind once you have seen just how precious I am!
