Developers plan to add 78 new residences to the townhouse and apartment community called Shipley's Grant near the border of Ellicott City and Columbia, according to a Howard County Times Report.

The Bozzutto Group, the developer, said at a pre-submission community meeting on Nov. 26 that they intend to add the townhouses to the existing community of 324 townhouses and 72 condos located at the intersection of Waterloo Road and Snowden River Parkway, according to the report.

The developer plans to begin construction on 13 of the new residences by next summer, but need to gain approval from Howard County's Department of Planning and Zoning and Planning Board before beginning construction on the other 65.
