Live Bluegrass Music

• Where:  The Friendly Inn, Ellicott City
• When:  Friday, May 24 and Saturday, May 25
• Description:  Performs include bands such as Saytr Hill Band Bluegrass, Appalachian Flyer, Dee Gunter and Dukes of Bluegrass and Gypsy Dawg. 
• Cost:  Free

Mother's Day Dinner Dance Event

• Where:  Peralynna Manor At Rosehill, 10605 State Route 108, Columbia
• When:  Friday, May 24, 7 p.m.
• Description:  May Dinner Dance Event featuring the RGR - Reilly, Goulait, Rosch Trio performing light rock, soul and popular love songs from the past 50 years. Enter to win a suite with double Jacuzzi! A special drawing will be held each night. 
• Cost: $50

• Where:   Slayton House, 10400 Cross Fox Ln, Columbia
• When:  Friday, May 24, 8 p.m.
• Description:  The musical is based on the late nineties movie and tells the story of six unemployed steel workers who decide to create their own Chippendales act when they see how much money their working wives and girlfriends pay to see male strippers at a local club. But before they go “The Full Monty”, each of the men has to overcome his own personal fears.
• Cost: $18

Kids on Broadway

• Where:  Columbia Center of Theatrical Art, 6655 Dobbin Rd, Columbia
• When:  Saturday, May 25, 11:15
• Description:  Kids on Broadway is designed for children interested in strengthening their musical theater skills. Culminates in a final performance.   (10 sessions), Ages 6-12, Class will be held at St. John's Parish Day School.
• Cost:  $185

Bringing in the May with the OCEAN Quartet

• Where:  Howard County Historical Society Museum, 8328 Court Ave, Ellicott City
• When:  Friday, May 24, 7:30 p.m.
• Description:  Maryland’s OCEAN Quartet continues their month-long May Day celebration at the Howard County Historical Society Museum with the Ocean’s Quartet’s members.
• Cost:  $20

US 1 Flea Market

• Where:  US 1 Flea Market, 7540 Washington Blvd, Elkridge
• When:  Saturday, May 25, 8 a.m.
• Description:  Everything from clothing to fowl available at this indoor-outdoor flea market.
• Cost: Free

Ye Haunted History of Olde Ellicott City

• Where:  8267 Main Street, Ellicott City
• When:  Friday, May 24, 8:30 p.m.  
• Description:  Guides take guests through the Historic District while recounting local history and stories of paranormal activities.
• Cost:  $13
