Why Go: This is a conceptualization of the Bard's The Winter's Tale set in the United States during the 1960s and 1970s. Come and see what it's like when two worlds collide: the "Camelot" White House years and the hippie counterculture.

Where/When: Artists' Gallery at 10227 Wincopin Cir in Columbia on Friday, February 4 from 6pm to 8m.
Why Go: This is an all-member, all-media show that is open to the public until February 25. Come out and support the local arts and hear some great stories too.

Where/When: Carroll County Arts Council at 91 West Main St in Westminster on Friday, February 4 at 7:30pm.
Why Go: This is a weekly event held each Friday for the month of February. Sponsored by "Film Lovers in Carroll County," it will feature an award-winning foreign film. This week's movie is The Secrets in their Eyes.

Where/When: Violetville Volunteer Fire Department at 4000 Benson Ave in Arbutus on Friday, February 4 at 8pm.
Why Go: Enjoy a blast from the past and get dressed up in your favorite 80s outfit. Eat, drink and listen to some of your favorite 80s tunes. Prizes will be awarded for best costume!
