Why go: Event Director Eddie McGowan announced the 2nd Annual 2012 Annapolis Irish Festival will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds. Gates will open at 11am. The 2011 Inaugural Irish Festival was a huge success, surpassing all expectations. Over 10,000 people from Maryland and as far away as Kansas and Scotland, enjoyed a bit of the Emerald Isle right here in Annapolis.
