Cat Sale!: 47 Cats of the Week

Come by Small Miracles to find a cat for you; there's sure to be one you'll love.

Hello there!

Yesterday was Columbus Day and I’m sure you know what that means?

SALES!

Oh come one, I know it celebrates the anniversary of Columbus’s arrivals in the Americas, but I look forward to the sales. Nothing makes me happier than a good bargain – especially when that bargain results in me going home!

My name is Eliza and I am one of 47 - yes you heard me right - 47 adult cats that are on sale at Small Miracles. Oh, we are still very much in style, don’t get me wrong.  We have been at the shelter so long that our fees were reduced to encourage people to adopt an older cat.

And older doesn’t mean we are all grandmas!  I’m talking age 3 and up so we are still plenty young. I’m a young mamma myself. I was found with my babies and now that they all have homes, I’ve made myself the official greeter at the shelter.

I love meeting people as they come in and out of the office and cannot wait to do the same in your home!

Here are a few of my 46 other "on sale" pals looking for a home:

  • Mia – Another mamma that came into the shelter with her babies.  They have all been adopted, now it’s her turn!
  • Marbles – Found homeless searching for his forever home.
  • Theresa – Searching for a dog-free home.
  • Almond – Yet another momma brought in with her babies.  Now it’s her turn for love!

Small Miracles is a nonprofit, no-kill cat and dog shelter in Ellicott City. Each week we will feature a cat that needs a home. If you happen to pick up one of these lovlies, post a picture and let us know!
