Snowy Scenes from Ellicott City and Columbia

The snowfall, which let up around noon, wasn't enough to make roads impassable, but created a snowy landscape in eastern Howard County.


Approximately two to three inches of snow fell in eastern Howard County during Tuesday morning's storm, according to the National Weather Service.

It wasn't enough to make roads impassable, most major roads in Columbia and Ellicott City seemed to be well plowed by noon on Tuesday. But the sticky, wet snow beautified the landscape, dusting trees in white and leaving a layer of snow on grass.
