3. Congratulations to Folly Quarter Middle School on being named a national Blue Ribbon School.

4. Philanthropy - A Howard County man donated $1 million to the Howard Hospital Foundation, in thanks for the support they gave his late wife and current wife in their medical treatment. The donation completes Howard Hospital Foundation's goal of raising $30 million.
