 bsp\;\nNeighbor Ride is a volunteer-based nonprofit dedicated to decreas
 ing isolation and improving the quality of life for Howard County&rsquo\
 ;s older residents by providing transportation for health care appointme
 nts\, cultural and social activities\, volunteer commitments\, shopping\
 , fitness and language classes\, religious services and other personal n
 eeds.&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Our volunteer drivers simply choose to provide the n
 eeded rides that fit their schedules and are convenient to their homes\,
  offices and daily routines.&nbsp\; NO SET SCHEDULE IS REQUIRED.&nbsp\; 
 Parents are welcome to bring their children along with volunteering for 
 a great intergenerational experience.&nbsp\;We offer this service so loc
 al seniors\, age 60 and over\, can remain healthy\, independent and conn
 ected to the community.
