Summer Reading Kickoff

Kick off summer reading on Saturday, June 1 at Miller Branch. Sign up for a summer reading club and participate in a day of fun including children's stories, face painting, crafts, and activities for children, teens, and adults. Library staff will be on hand to recommend great books for teens and adults.

Howard County Library System Charles E. Miller Branch & Historical Center opened Dec. 17, 2011. 

Three thousand feet of the 63,000 square foot library is home to the Howard County Historical Center and other local historical groups. 

Adjacent to the LEED-certified building is the Enchanted Garden, an outdoor teaching space complete with edible gardens, composting equipment and examples of more than 60 native species.

The library itself has 100 public computers, meeting rooms, audio/visual offerings and, of course, books.
