Enjoy a self-guided tour of Howard County art galleries during Road to the Arts weekend, September 14–16, 2012. This event celebrates the visual arts in Howard County and is a great way to discover and explore local art spaces. Participating galleries will host receptions and other special events throughout the weekend. The action kicks off on September 14 at HCAC and other Ellicott City galleries; explore Columbia area galleries on Saturday, and round out your weekend in Savage on Sunday.
This year’s Road to the Arts map also includes all twelve ARTsites locations, making it easy to check out the sculptures, on view through April 2013. Maps will be available in August at www.hocoarts.org or by calling 410-313-ARTS (2787).

More About Howard County Arts Council
The Howard County Arts Council supports local artists by providing affordable studios and hosting exhibits in the gallery space. It also hosts functions as a performance venue for music and theatrical acts. The council offers grant programs for local artists and also holds classes. It's located within the Howard County Center for the Arts on High Ridge Road.
