Song will fill the air tomorrow evening during the Ellicott City Main Street First Friday Event!
We have 2 great bands performing at the Post Office and the BO Railroad Museum.
The Soundchecks -
The Soundchecks play hippie-country-acoustic rock music, running the gamut from the Beatles, the Grateful Dead and Paul Simon, to Emmylou Harris, Patsy Cline and Johnny Cash. And we throw in the likes of Radiohead, My Morning Jacket, Pink and Lady Gaga as well. The Soundchecks are Owen Johnson on vocals, John Lee on vocals and acoustic guitar, and Michael Teitelbaum on the bass. Find us on Facebook and at www.thesoundchecks.com
Root Three -
The root of all music is rhythm. As the name implies, Root Three is about reducing music to it's roots. As a three piece band, Root Three is able to strip down the complex world of improvisational music to its bare essentials. Comprised of Jason Free on guitar, Tristan Gilbert on drums and Eddie Brown on Sousaphone, Root Three creates it's unique sound by blending the music styles of Jazz and Funk, and taking them on a freight train to New Orleans.
Get your Autumn groove on and come on down and support our town!
