$125.00
Join us for a spectacular evening in the grand Miller Branch featuring live music, fine food, and a silent auction.
Dave Chappell & The Lone Stardusters is a Baltimore-based band, heavily influenced by the kings of western swing, Bob Willis and His Texas Playboys and the western dance bands of the 1930s and 40s from Texas and Oklahoma. The Lone Stardusters' mix of Blues and swing makes for a foot-tapping, dance-the-night-away evening.
Award-winning author Mary Doria Russell will discuss her latest novel, Doc, a well-researched biographical account of wild west dentist and gambler John Henry Holliday. This beautifully written book includes murder, horse wrangling, saloons and brothels, dentistry, gambling, and the legend of Doc Holliday.
Celebrity Bartenders are back by popular demand. Some of Howard County's favorite people will be pouring drinks for a limited time during the evening.
Cocktail attire. Boots and black tie optional.
