The Arts Council is pleased to announce that the 16th annual Celebration of the Arts in Howard County gala will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Howard Community College's Peter & Elizabeth Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center.

The festivities will include a silent auction of works by local artists, delectable culinary offerings from area restaurants, and an evening of wonderful performances culminating in the presentation of the awe-inspiring Rising Star Competition and the 2012 Howie Awards.

As the Arts Council’s main source of corporate and foundation funding, the Celebration helps to support the Arts Council’s grants and education programs for children and adults throughout the year. The Celebration is also an important showcase for local performing and visual artists.  Mark your calendars now; you won't want to miss Howard County's signature arts event!
