Mega corporations who hate American values, not working families and poor, are responsible of theRead Moreco llapse of our economy. They robbed our savings, banks, send us to llegal wars, and trashed our national pride.Just end lobbiest and elect people who will not take a penny from corp.and their wealthy pals. I can see how this will be viewed as anti business and so forth.

Hello Ahmed, I hope you'll read the article itself, linked above. This is just a portal to takeRead Morerea ders to the article. Regarding your comment, I pretty much agree with you. The article "Obama Admin’s TPP Trade Officials Received Hefty Bonuses From Big Banks," by Lee Fang at Republic Report, showed, for example, how CitiGroup and Bank of America paid millions to executives so they would accept Obama administration appointments to lead negotiations on the Trans-Pacific Partnership. Such treaties erode national sovereignty by allowing corporations to challenge in international tribunals those national laws and regulations that impact their business, removing sovereignty and government accountability from the elected governments. Thus globalized corporations seek the destruction of democracy and constitutional government and sovereignty in order to replace these with global governance by treaties they write and tribunals they staff.

No. An engagement, yes.

Is it necessary to have engagement ring in the first place? Many people cohabit for years beforeRead Moreth ey get engaged and there is a ring followed by announcement with a party. And then they wait for years before they get married. It is a quite interesting path many choose. Not my choice.

Engagement rings aren't necessary, no, not at all. Many can't afford them, for one thing. I had Read Morea man living with me for six years. At one point, I wanted to marry him, but am so grateful I didn't. He gave me a diamond band (not an engagement ring) to wear. After the relationship ended, I took the ring to my jeweler, got it appraised and they sold it for a percentage of the sale price. I didn't want it anymore. I had given him a similar ring. I have no idea what he did with it and I don't care. When I married my late husband (our marriage lasted over 30 years til death did we part), I think the only time he wore his wedding band was on our wedding day. His career made it dangerous to wear any rings at all. I never had a problem with it. After several years, I had both of our wedding bands melted down and sold. I still have the engagement ring and will never give it up, way too sentimental to me. By melting the bands down, I felt like we were joined forever in eternity. I know that sounds corny. I am now engaged to an awesome man, for the first time in over 40 years! He proposed with an engagement ring, though he didn't need to. The ring is symbolic, though. He too cannot wear rings due to his job. And no, I don't care.

This morning, Friday, Feb 21, I noticed that one side of the landmark Enchanted Forest sign hadRead Morebeen remounted. It is slightly damaged - some dents and paint chipping visible - but appears repairable. Perhaps it was salvaged because of the calls and e-mails sent to Howard County officials by myself and others complaining about it being torn down. Anyway, it appears someone heard the outcries. I guess half the "Enchanted Forest" sign is better than no sign at all.

Well, answer the question. Is it illegal to drive a car with snow on it? If so, what is the fine. Read More
