It took fire crews about 30 minutes to put out a house fire reported at 5:45 p.m. Sunday on the 3700 block of Valley Road in Ellicott City.

This was the second fire reported in less than 24 hours in Ellicott City. On Saturday at about 11:40 p.m., crews fought a house on fire on the 4800 block of Manor Lane. No one was injured and the homeowner was not home at the time. 

The Sunday Valley Road fire is believed to be accidental, fire officials said. No one was injured. The initial damage estimate is approximately $110,000.
