Two Clarksville Homes Targeted for Burglary
Information supplied by the Howard County Police Department.
Two Clarksville houses on the same block were the targets of burglaries early Tuesday morning, according to Howard County Police.
Sometime before 6 a.m., on the 6500 block of River Clyde Drive, a suspect or suspects cut open a screen on a ground-floor window, according to police. The window was unlocked.
According to police, a laptop, passport, digital camera, cash and the keys to two vehicles that were parked in the driveway were stolen from the house.
Then, according to police, the keys were used to open the vehicles, where the suspect or suspects stole cash.
Between 12:30 and 7:30 a.m., police say a suspect or suspects tried to enter another house on the same block by entering an unlocked screen door to the house’s deck, but were unable to get inside the house.
