The weekend tastings at Carpe Vinum may be the answer to your dilemma. Most Saturdays and Sundays from 12 to 3 p.m. John Bassett hosts wine tastings. Bassett has massed quite a knowledge about wine, liqueurs, and beers.
Carpe Vinum is located in the heart of old town Ellicott City.
