When it comes to St. Patrick's Day, some people just want to "keep it real." 

We asked where readers would go this weekend to celebrate this 1,000-plus-year-old Irish celebration.

And, appopriately perhaps, they chose Ellicott City's two Irish Pubs. 

This will be the 18th year that Kelsey's hosts a St. Patrick's Day celebration. The restaurant will be offering Corned Beef and Cabbage, Irish Stew, Guinness, Harp, and green beer. 

Shannon's, another Irish restaurant, has been around since 1982 and has an extensive menu featuring both American and Irish faves.
