Report: Prosecutors Say Sex Video Shows Phylicia Barnes, Accused Murderer
Lawyers say the 16-year-old honor student was shown "intoxicated" in a video with her accused killer, according to news reports.

Prosecutors in the case against the accused killer of Phylicia Barnes will show a video at trial depicting the teenage victim “intoxicated and engaging in sexual relations” with her accused killer and others, the Baltimore Sun reports.
Barnes, a 16-year-old from North Carolina, went missing from Baltimore three days after Christmas 2010, while she was in Baltimore visiting her half-sister. Barnes’s body was found in the Susquehanna River in April 2011.
The search for Barnes spread out across Maryland, reaching Howard County in the spring of 2011.
During a Maryland State Police-led search of the Patapsco Valley State Park on April 9, police did not find Barnes, but they did find a body, later identified as John H. Hagegeorge, 55, of Catonsville.
Hagegeorge died from natural causes and exposure, according to police.
Less than two weeks later, workers on the Conowingo Dam reported to police that they thought they saw a body in the Susquehanna River. The Natural Resources Police were able to recover the body, later identified as Barnes. The State Medical Examiner’s office ruled her death a homicide.
Barnes’s half-sister’s boyfriend, Michael Maurice Johnson, 28, faces first-degree murder charges in Barnes’s death. His trial is scheduled to begin in late January.
Prosecutors say Johnson suffocated Barnes, and then moved her body in a 35-gallon plastic tub, the Sun reported.

I hope for the Defenses sake this video is not an attempt to portray the victim as someone with a tainted reputation. This defendant looks like a complete cad having sex with a 16 year old.

This video is being brought out by the Prosecutors (read: against the suspected killer!) so there must be a reason they need this - perhaps to show that he knew her, perhaps motive, we just don't know. At any rate this better work AGAINST him.

Note for all young and not so young girls out there. No matter who you are with be very carefull of what and how much you drink, even if you think it is plain coke. Don't allow anyone to tease you into having "just one". Always keep complete control of all your senses. It's terrible to say this but you are never sure who you can trust.

My suspicions are that the half-sister knows exactly what happened to Phylicia. And that the video will show, that she knowingly placed her obviously naive but, trusting sister in harms way. I've also chosen to believe that she has been tight-lipped since this horrible tragedy, in an attempt to save her own ass. And it appears, that the police have let her off the hook.

Yeah I agree the half sister knows more. He drugged that little girl in addition to alcohol. Sad so very sad.
