Police Release Picture of Ellicott City Burglary Suspect

Howard County Police say the picture shows a burglary in progress in the St. John's Lane neighborhood.

Howard County Police are working on closing one of about a dozen unsolved burglaries from the last year in the St. John’s Lane area.

These pictures, from a resident’s home surveillance system, show a man who police say broke into a home on the 3600 block of Macalpine Road on Dec. 28, 2012.

According to police, the burglar entered the home between about 7:50 and 9:30 p.m. by forcing open a back window. Once inside, the burglar ransacked the home and stole jewelry.

Police are asking anyone with information about the burglary to call 410-313-STOP or using the county’s smartphone application, iWatchHowardCounty.  Tips may be made anonymously.

Too bad you can't enlarge the picture big enough to really see it.

The quality is what it is, but I've added a larger version of the picture.

It's not the quality, it's the size. Even the larger version, it's still impossible to see.
