Joan Eve Classics & Collectibles Sweeps Window Contests

The Main Street store wins the People's and Judge's Choice Award.

Joan Eve Classics & Collectibles takes all.

The Main Street collectibles shop was voted the People’s Choice winner in the Ellicott City Restoration Foundation’s (ECRF) annual holiday window decorating contest.

Runners up are Vintage Bliss Boutique in second place, and Sweet Elizabeth Jane in third place.

For its “classic and elegant window,” Joan Eve will receive a quarter-page ad in Howard Magazine, according to a release sent out by the ECRF.

Vintage Bliss will receive ad space in The Business Monthly and Sweet Elizabeth Jane wins ad space from Howard County Tourism and Promotion.

Joan Eve’s window also won the Judges’ Choice window decorating contest, voted on by a panel of judges including Victoria Goodman of Blossoms of Hope; Jackie Panowicz of Custom Media Options; Joan Waclawski of The Business Monthly; Beth Burgess of Howard County Planning and Zoning, and Ed Lilly, ECRF president.

For the People’s Choice contest, visitors to the Historic District voted for their favorite business window by casting ballots at the Howard County Welcome Center

What a nice lady and store. If you can't find a nice gift for a loved one in there, you are far too picky!

Beautiful work Joan.
