Holiday Festival of Trains, Swing Dancing, Zumba and More in Howard County this Weekend

- Description: Program that helps children with communication disorders and social skills needs improve their communication abilities through musical theatre.
- Cost: Free
- Where: B&O Railroad Museum: Ellicott City Station, 2711 Maryland Ave, Ellicott City
- When: Friday, Nov. 23 – Sunday, Jan. 27, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Description: B&O Railroad museum's annual holiday celebration of toy trains and model railroading. New this year is a custom built 360 degree LEGO model train layout created by The Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area LEGO Train Club.
- Cost: $16.00 (50% off admission for new, unwrapped toys for donation to Toys for Tots)
Infant and Toddlers ~ Play Partners
- Where: Howard County Library Elkridge Branch, 6540 Washington Blvd,Elkridge
- When: Saturday, Dec. 29, 10:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
- Description: Activities, stories, music and more for infants to age 23 months. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Cost: Free
- Where: US 1 Flea Market, 7540 Washington Blvd, Elkridge
- When: Saturday, Dec. 22, 8 a.m.
- Description: Indoor-Outdoor flea market includes everything from clothing to fowl.
- Cost: Free
- Where: 125 York Rd, Towson
- When: Friday, Dec. 28, 8 p.m.
- Description: The Friday Night Swing Dance Club runs dances with live bands every Friday. Dances are open to the public, to all ages 16 and up. No partner necessary.
- Cost: $12
- Where: 6955 Oakland Mills Rd, Columbia
- When: Friday, Dec. 28, 8 p.m. – 9 p.m.
- Description: Hand techniques, leg techniques, proper footwork, generating and distributing kinetic energy into each technique are taught in this technique and conditioning class).
- Cost: $10
Ladies Only Zumba – First class free
- Where: One For All Dance Academy, 9691 Gerwig Ln Ste L, Columbia
- When: Saturday, Dec. 29, 10 a.m.
- Description: Ladies are invited to check out a zumba class at One for All Dance Academy, first class is free.
- Cost: Free
