Frugal Family: All Aboard for Summer at the B&O Railroad Museum

Thursdays are for tots at the B&O Ellicott City Station. Don't forget to sign up for the free reading program!

You and your little ones can escape the heat at the B&O Ellicott City Station this summer with a reading program.

Young readers may sign up for the "I've Been Readin' on the Railroad"  summer free reading program by picking up a reading journal at the B&O Baltimore or Ellicott City stations. Young readers need to read 10 railroad-related children’s books. Once all books are read, you should return the journal to either museum location to earn a free book and a chance to win an engineer’s outfit.

Admission to the B&O Ellicott City Station is $5 for adults, $4 for Seniors (60+), $3 for children (ages 2-12), with children under 2 free. Or, you can purchase a combination admission to visit both the B&O Ellicott City Station and the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum for one low price. The Combination Rate is $16 for adults, $14 for seniors (60+), $10 for children (2-12), with children under 2 free.
