Maryland hunters will take to tree stands Saturday for the start of firearm deer season.

Hunters who possess a hunting license can utilize firearms to hunt white-tailed and sika deer from Nov. 24 to Dec. 8.

Bow hunting season, which ran frm Sept. 7 to Oct. 17, and Oct. 21 to Nov. 23, resumes Dec. 10 to Dec. 14 and Dec. 31 to Jan. 31.
