Robby Kinter tells Valerie Bonk how he keeps occupied during the power outage.

As of Wednesday night, BGE had restored power to nearly 60,000 customers in Howard County after last Friday's storm.

But for some of the more than 3,300 people living in the dark, things were getting difficult.

Ellicott City resident Robby Kintner did have his smart phone to keep connected, but has been driving around to keep it charged. And then there's the boredom.

"Spray the dog with the hose," is one of the games he'd come up with to keep occupied.

"There's really few things to keep yourself entertained," Kitner said, "But we try."

Is your power still out? Reading Patch at the library or on your smartphone? How are you keeping entertained? Tell us in the comments.
