Ellicott City Barber Faces Sexual Abuse Charges
Police charged a barber with sexual abuse after allegations from a 13-year-old client.
An Ellicott City barber faces charges after a 13-year-old boy told police that the barber sexually abused him.
Howard County police say the boy was a client at Scissors Sound Hair Salon, 3419 Plum Tree Drive.
Jung Gon Kim of Boyds, MD, faces six charges, including sexual abuse of a minor and second- and third-degree sexual assault. He was arrested Monday and is being held at the Howard County Detention Center on $500,000 bond.
Police are asking any parents of children who visited the salon to talk with their children to determine if there may have been other offenses and to contact the police at 410-313-2200.
