On family history: Both sides of my family are Native American. My husband is Nipmuk and I am Onida. 

On why she sells fudge: My husband and I met while working for a candy company so we knew we’d do something with candy.

On the best part of her job: I get to travel out West—I get to hand-pick everything.

On her favorite fudge flavor: It changes month to month…Four months out of the year we sell more pumpkin than anything else.

Interesting tidbit about her: I bake a lot. At the Howard County Fair three years ago I had 48 food entries…I bake everything from fudge to cookies, cakes, brownies--you name it. Everything except pie. I don’t do pie. I’m not touching those country women.
