Jodi Picoult -- the guest that made HCLS "the envy of public librares on the East Coast, if not the entire nation," according to Howard County Library System's CEO Valerie Gross -- talks about and reads from her book "Lone Wolf."

Picoult spoke to more than 600 visitors at the Charles E. Miller Branch Library in Ellicott City about the book, which deals with medical ethics, biology and family dynamics.
