Looks like Batman was caught breaking a traffic law near White Oak in Montgomery County Wednesday. He's no stranger to Howard County either, but his cause is apparently just.
Montgomery County Police pulled over a man dressed as the caped superhero as he was driving southbound on Route 29 near Prelude Drive.
The reason: his Batmobile didn't have any tags.
According to WTOP, the man was driving to the hospital to visit sick children, when he was stopped by officers because his black Lamborghini was identified with the Batman symbol rather than the required state tags.
Howard County residents may recall that in November 2011, Batman's muscle car got a flat tire in the area of Johns Hopkins Road. After police cleared the vehicle, Batman posed for a snapshot.
In the latest case, Montgomery County police didn't release the man's name but did release several images of the traffic stop on the department's Twitter and Facebook accounts.

While the news about Batman being pulled over by Montgomery County police has been extensively covered, the complete story of the Caped Crusader’s run-in with the law has not been known until now. Batman left his underground cave last Wednesday to travel to Georgetown Hospital to visit with children with cancer and other serious illnesses as part Hope for Henry’s annual Superhero Celebrations.
Here are photos of the famed crime-fighter in action after freeing himself from the clutches of local law enforcement:

The Dark Knight joined Wonder Woman and Spiderman at Georgetown where their superhero powers comforted children fighting life-threatening illnesses.
The kids visited by Batman, Wonder Woman and Spiderman – hematology/oncology inpatients and outpatients being treated at Georgetown - enjoyed their time with the superheroes, and were treated to time in the Batmobile; gifts of superhero toys and books; caricatures of themselves posed as superheroes; superhero photo booth pictures; and much, much more.
The superheroes return to Washington, DC on Monday, March 26, at 10:30 am to spend time with pediatric cancer patients at Hope for Henry’s Superhero Celebration at Children’s National Medical Center.

Ok, I'll play the devil's advocate- while his cause is obviously very noble and just (well of course it is, he's batman!), I hope that he was given at least a warning of some sort for the violation, and will not continue to be allowed to drive without a "real" tag. Good intentions does not/ should not make ANYONE exempt from abiding by any law. A few years ago I was pulled over and ticketed for not having a front tag by Howard county's finest, I was definitely in the wrong and deserved a ticket, but I highly doubt the outcome would have been any different depending on my outfit that day! Nor should it have been of course... just saying...

Ok, Not to be sarcastic one, but could you pull out a license plate and show the cops you had one but it just wasnt on?? No I didn't think so. Im sorry your so bitter about your ticket but I'm sure you weren't doing something for people who are sick and down. Your whole statement sounds self centered and pathetic. This man is taking out time from his day to do something nice for children he does not even know. Im sure thats more then you can say. Batman keep up the amazing work you will never know how amazing it is to those children and what it means to them that "batman" came to see them!!

Darnit!! I can't hide anything from you 2, can I?!? What are you guys, some sort of all-knowing, psychic, super-righteous superhero duo or something?!? Whatever you are, you guys are GOOD!! I'm impressed, from one exceedingly fundamental statement of mine (simply that laws should be obeyed by everyone), you have managed to extract the essence of my character, expose my flaws, and provide me with invaluable insight into the things that have plagued my inner psyche for years, not to mention gain knowledge of everything I have or haven't done in my entire life. No, "AML", it is YOU that is AWESOME!! I love you guys!! *hug* (Now run along and play fantasy-land nicely, and make sure you wear your "special" helmets like Mommy & Daddy told you... we don't want any more accidents now, DO we?!? The adults have work to do in the real world...)
