Alleged Thief Strikes Twice, Nabbed Nearby

Charges are pending against a juvenile who police say burglarized a home and a business in Ellicott City.

Howard County Police said the juvenile suspect, who was “known” to police, stole video games, an iPod and money from a home on the 2900 block of Mount Etna Circle early Sunday morning.

Police also believe the suspect stole merchandise from a business on Route 40. The suspect was found at a gas station near the business. Officers said they recovered stolen property. 

On Friday, May 25, police say an unknown number of suspects kicked in a back door at a home on the 9900 block of Frederick Road at about 2:30 p.m. A safe containing U.S. and foreign currency was stolen, along with a camera.
