All-American Macy: Dog of the Week
Macy is sweet, kind and shy. And would be thankful for a home.
I'm Macy and I am an all-American, girl-next-door type of dog. I am sweet, kind, pretty, and a little shy. It’s the season to be thankful and I’m so thankful that Small Miracles has worked so hard to give me a second chance. I didn’t have a fair start to life and I am looking for that special family who will give me the chance I deserve.
I’ve learned a lot while here. I have learned to come when called and am now learning to sit. I’m learning to trust people more but I still prefer to be an only dog. Maybe one day that will change, but for now I just want to work on being the best family member I can be for my humans.
My perfect fur-ever family will shower me with love, affection, praise and cookies. In return, I promise to be the beautiful, lovable, sweetheart that I am.
Stop by Small Miracles today and bring this all-American girl home for this great American holiday. I sure would be thankful! Plus, how cool would it be to watch the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade with a dog named Macy!
And did I mention that I love turkey? Yummm . . . I can just taste it now.
Small Miracles Cat and Dog Rescue is a nonprofit, no-kill shelter in Ellicott City. Each week we will feature an animal that needs a home. If you happen to pick up one of these lovelies, post a picture and let us know!
