Howard 7 Rotary Clubs Establish Partnerships
The Rotary “Howard 7” Clubs recently established two new Community Partnership Programs: with Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center and with Leadership Howard County and its youth program, Leadership U.
Presidents of the county’s seven Rotary Clubs and representatives of the partnership organizations met for dinner and signed memorandums of understanding expressing the shared value of “Service Above Self: giving back and improving the quality of life in our community.”
Rotary Club Presidents and signatories were Senior Area Governor Nancy M. Szlasa, Niles Morton, Rotary Club of Clarksville; Herb Moltzan, Rotary Club of Columbia; “Pete” Kunz, Rotary Club of Columbia Patuxent; Sharon Waligoria, Rotary Club of Columbia Town Center; William Swain, Rotary Club of Elkridge; Joan Kennedy, Rotary Club of Ellicott City; and Mark Ireland, Rotary Club of Ellicott City Sunrise. Club Presidents-Elect also attended.
The Howard 7 previously established partnerships with the Howard County Library System and the Howard County Public School System.
