Ulman and Watson don't care about you. They care about their political future, and any money that is flowing to them as a result of the meters. Give up, they don't care. You are nothing to Ulman and Watson.

Dear Ralphie,
I am truly sad to hear your advice to "give up".I have never been one to adopt a defeatist attitude and I sincerely hope that the majority of the Main St community feels the same way. I will never give up fighting on this issue, it is vital for my business and for my community. Please remember that local politics differs greatly from state or national politics. In local politics, just a few people can really make a huge difference! In local politics, your closest, most important and immediate interests are at stake. In local politics, you can actually have access to your elected officials. They live and work in the same community we do. I disagree with you, I think they do care - especially in cases where they may lose constituents in the next election if they don't listen to the people around them, because on a local level even a relatively small number of votes count.
